In order to be able to meet the increased sophistication of the demand (increased feed rate, surface finish and surface structure for visible areas or gluing, Glulam constructions, "KVH" (solid structural timber), Duo / Trio sold structural timber, handling and transportation support, adjusted mechanization, etc.) continuous enhancements are necessary.
Kälin managed to gained its extraordinary market position by focusing on the combination of plane techniques with adapted mechanization. For this reason, Kälin Hobeltechnik AG was founded in 2000 which is at the same location as Kälin AG headquarter. Kälin Hobeltechnik AG is responsible for construction, development and engineering. This ensures optimal allocation of resources to guarantee the focus on this specific market segment.
These solutions are being provided by our co-contractor Hediger AG (CH-Menziken) which continuous to exceed our expectations. Hediger AG supplies us with switchboards and the controlling and software development for individual machines and entire plants. Moreover, Hediger AG offers our customers personal after sales services. Support via modem (peer-to-peer) or through the internet is also available.
We also strengthened our service team by winning Näf AG (CH-Herisau) as one of our co-contrators. With decades of experiences and specialization in setting up and supporting maintenance and repairs, Näf Ag is the ideal partner.
